Ok, so no new human babies here but i did just adopt a baby horse. She will be 1 on June 5, 2009. I am working at a vet clinic and this lil girl came in with large cuts all over her lower right leg. It has taken about 6 weeks stall rest, 3 weeks in a cast, 2 weeks of daily bandage changes (did i mention that she is stabled out at my grandparent-a half hour drive in good traffic) and then...finally a release to the pasture where she could only visit friends from across the fence. She is now, after 2 months, frolicking with her other two equine friends.
